Saying Goodbye to a Party Stalwart

Eliza from Gregory & Carr Funerals contacted me to film this service in Epping for the Late Gloria Martin, a longstanding Liberal Party stalwart, who was active in the party from 1987.

Eliza put me in touch with Gloria’s friend Robert, who chose our Premium Videography Package (3 camera coverage of the service, plus footage before and after) to film the service and the burial across 2 days.

Many senior Liberal Party figures attended the service, including former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop, The Hon Anthony Roberts MP, Nathaniel Smith MP, and former Prime Minister The Hon John Howard OM, AC, who delivered one of the eulogies.

It was an honour to capture so many well-spoken tributes. From all accounts Gloria was a loyal, tenacious and hard working woman who loved her party fiercely, and who was much loved in return.

In the words of John Howard “It’s very hard to imagine the Liberal Party family of this part of Sydney without Gloria Martin…She was a one off - there’ll never be another Gloria”.

Thank you to Eliza and the Gregory and Carr team who were amazing to work with, and who handled the rain on the day of the burial with great aplomb.
