Hello Celile, Jenny and Tim, I would be delighted to attend remotely on Monday, thank you. Although I only met Anthony a few times, he remains in my mind as a real gentleman, possessed of a fine mind, great sense of humour and an excellent host - I have particular fond memories of the time that Fiona and I visited your home for Christmas which was a riot of family fun. His military record was special and unique but being a modest man, he did not complete the biography that I know Tim and I and many others would have loved to read. Perhaps somebody will fill that void in our history at some juncture. The Royal Australian Navy will rightly give Anthony a fine public send off and this will be a wonderful learning opportunity for his younger family who probably only think of him in terms of the much beloved Grandad in their lives - he was that of course but he was also a leader of men, in danger overseas in the service of our nation. God bless him and full speed ahead!

Hello Celie, We remember him and the company of you both so well. Such an intelligent man in a broad sense, outgoing and imaginative as a youngster and thereafter. And what a contributor! To your and your family's memories of him please add how warmly we remember and respect him, and will. Please let us know should you get up here. With our best wishes, David and Gail In Queensland
